As the JDA EP Technical Administrator, I was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enhancements to the Enterprise Planning system, including:

  • Design and develop interface solutions between SAP, TIBCO, and JDA EP, such as Inventory Lifecycle Planning conversion process.

  • Design and develop ORACLE database objects (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures) as part of interface solutions

  • Design and develop .NET applications as interface solutions between JDA EP and Business users

  • Monitor and maintain 12 Windows servers and 1 Unix database server

  • Monitor and troubleshoot JDA EP batch processes

  • Implement JDA EP product patching and major releases

  • Run JDA EP batch jobs to test ORACLE database patches and upgrades

Liaison between the Finance and Technology Department. Responsible for improving financial systems, processes, and practices. Responsible for defining & documenting systems needs and coordinating efforts with the Technology Department. Managed all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle process, including post-implementation support.

Specifically, responsible for the following:

  • Ongoing enhancements and system upgrades of Financial Systems:
    Sales Audit/Vertex/CTT/Chesapeake (TRECs, SmartAnalysis, UPCS), including:

    • Monitoring and troubleshooting Sales feed from POS to Sales Audit to SAP

    • Monitoring and troubleshooting Master Data feeds and ICT processes for Sales Audit

    • Monitoring and troubleshooting Sales data feed to CTT and Vertex

    • Performing SAP Integration testing with Sales Audit, and Trecs (Sales load, Site Master, Article Master)

    • Performing ATG Integration testing with Sales Audit and CTT (Sales and Tax)

    • Working with internal and external support teams on troubleshooting issues

    • Working with DTC and POS Teams along with NSB/EPICOR on Translate changes needed to handle Business changes such as new coupon codes from Marketing or new line_objects to handle Locate transactions

Enterprise Application Integration

 

As an Enterprise Application Integration developer, I was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining corporate applications, including:

  • Implementing System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, including Systems Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Systems Design, Integration Testing, User Acceptance, and Deployment

  • Managing deliverables and user expectations

  • Database design best practices – Normalization, Naming Standards, Documentation

 

I was also responsible for designing, developing, and implementing upgrades to Chico’s FAS internal Payroll system (Time & Attendance). These enhancements included:
 

  • Utilizing Source Safe Version Control system for source code control, parallel development, and audit trail maintenance

  • Using SQL Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager to create, manipulate and maintain database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, triggers, and indexes

  • Modifying .NET Console application

  • Monitoring and validating input and output of data, such as ADP file extractions and Payroll reports

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting the process flow of incoming data files (i.e. TC.NEW, TA.NEW) from store registers through a Retail Transaction Switch (RTS) into Time & Attendance system

  • Maintain and enhance Sales vs. Payroll process


Accomplishments:

  • Received Excellence Award for outstanding performance as JDA EP Technical Administrator

  • Received Excellence Award for outstanding performance as BSA for SAP Finance

  • Implemented JDA EP upgrade to 7.7.2

  • Created and automated a data validation process between SAP BI and JDA EP

  • Created a conversion process to handle Merchandise Inventory Lifecycle Planning for Full Price and Markdown tracking for JDA EP.

  • Implemented a critical Financial System enhancement that converted all Chico’s FAS, INC store employees to an Hourly pay rate. As a result, all salaried employees were eligible for overtime compensation.  This enhancement was implemented across all Chico’s owned brands, which included White House | Black Market and Soma, at all locations across the United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
